Best Western Plus Clinton/Jackson

You know, there were these two ladies working early who did their absolute best, really took care of us. I loved being able to grab a hot cup of coffee on my way out at 5 a.m., that was a nice touch.

But the price? Not exactly cheap.

The staff took care of our every need. They were very friendly and knowledgable.

The location was convenient and perfect, the staff were respectful. Well-appointed rooms and a fridge, a seating area and a writing desk included. The service was good throughout our stay.

Here's the good and the not-so-good

The breakfast was disappointing. Often lacked options, and common areas appeared unkempt with maintenance issues persisting throughout the stay.

Everything was fine, absolutely perfect location very close to a good restaurant, the Gulf Coast and Jackson, MS, attentive staff. The room was huge and neat with 2 beds, just what we needed.

I booked a double room for my family of five, excited about the space and amenities. We arrived late, around 1 am, only to be informed that our room was given away. The only option was a single king room with an uncomfortable cot. This left us hardly sleeping through the night. The location was fine and convenient for our travels. The check-in process, though frustrating, went quickly. Hot water for showers was an issue , disappointing. Breakfast didn't meet expectations. The food looked unappetizing and felt poorly prepared. I expected more from Hampton Inn than this experience.

Request extra towels in advance to avoid shortages, especially during busy weekends.
